Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan dengan Penerapan Terapi Kelompok Terapeutik untuk Meningkatkan Rasa Kepercayaan Diri pada Anak Usia Sekolah di Panti Asuhan Agape Terehasan Medan

Abstract

Self-confidence becomes a very important thing to cultivate in a child's soul from an early age. When a child has confidence in himself, then he can easily develop and express himself. Feelings of anxiety, worry and fear of his ability not to be accepted by the environment become obstacles in developing the child's self-confidence so that his or her social development does not develop well. Giving therapeutic group therapy has been shown to improve children's motor, cognitive, linguistic, moral, spiritual, emotional, personal and psychosocial abilities. The purpose of this senior practice is to carry out nursing orphanage with the application of therapeutic group therapy to increase the confidence of school-age children. The location of this senior practice is at the Panti Asuhan Agape Terehasan Medan. The therapeutic group therapy was applied to two children aged 6-7 years and was conducted from May 20th to May 24th 2024. After doing therapy, the results showed that the child seemed more cheerful, excited, enthusiastic and more confident.
