Abstract

Sectio caesarea is a way of delivering a fetus by making an incision in the uterine wall through the front wall of the abdomen. After a cesarean section, a woman will enter the postpartum period. The puerperium is the period that occurs after 12 weeks of childbirth and the fourth trimester which is the most important time for new mothers and their families. Senior practice aims to provide nursing care to postpartum women with post sectio caesarea. The methods used in senior practice are interviews and direct observation of patients. Senior practice involves 2 patients, namely Mrs. F. and Mrs. S. Patients have been given implementation according to patient complaints. Implementation is carried out based on predetermined interventions. The successful achievement of the intervention can be obtained from cooperation between health workers, patients, and patients' families. The conclusion of this senior practice is nursing care by overcoming the pain disorders given, the results of the problem are well resolved. The author suggests that pain management nursing care in postpartum women with post sectio caesarea is further improved in order to improve the patient's quality of life.
