Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan pada Ibu Nifas dengan Anemia di Ruang Rawat Inap Maternitas Rumah Sakit Prof. dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis Universitas Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Anemia is a condition of reduced red blood cells (erythrocytes) in the blood circulation or hemoglobin (Hb) mass so that they are unable to fulfill their function as a carrier of oxygen to all tissues. The aim of this senior practicum is to apply nursing theories and concepts, especially maternity nursing, in managing and providing nursing care to patients with anemia in postpartum mothers. Nursing care was carried out on 20 May 2024 – 24 May 2024 for patients with anemia in postpartum mothers. The diagnosis obtained from this study was and the knowledge deficit was related to a lack of information about the disease. The results obtained after health education were carried out, patients responded very well and were enthusiastic about hearing the health education provided. Patients understand how to deal with anemia, so that clients change their behavior to a healthy lifestyle. It is recommended that clients and their families maintain a healthy diet, especially in preventing anemia.
