Cholesterol is a white, waxy substance that is naturally found in the body. Excessive cholesterol levels in the blood are known as hypercholesterolem ia, namely cholesterol levels that exceed 200 mg/dl. Hypercholesterolemia can be caused by bad habits, such as consuming high fat foods, smoking, lack of activity, and an unhealthy lifestyle. This is also thought to occur due to lack of knowledge. The leve l of knowledge of hypercholesterolemia sufferers regarding their disease and how to manage it is an important factor that can influence the success of controlling hypercholesterolemia. Health education plays an important role in increasing knowledge and un derstanding of hypercholesterolemia sufferers. In managing this nursing care, health education about cholesterol was provided to two female clients aged 59 years and 28 years with cholesterol levels exceeding 200 mg/dl. From the results of the study and da ta analysis, priority problems were obtained, namely, a knowledge deficit related to a lack of information about the disease. This underlies the focus of nursing care provided to clients, namely providing health education and checking total cholesterol lev els in the blood. Based on the evaluation results, clients show increased knowledge about cholesterol.en_US
