dc.description.abstractBackground: Pharmaceutical services at community health centers (Puskesmas) must support the three primary functions of the Puskesmas: as a center for health-oriented development, a center for community empowerment, and a center for primary healthcare services, which include individual and public health services. Every pharmacist providing pharmaceutical services at a Puskesmas is required to adhere to the pharmaceutical service standards, which include the management of pharmaceutical supplies and consumable medical materials, as well as clinical pharmacy services. Objective: To observe, study, and practice pharmaceutical services (management of pharmaceutical supplies and consumable medical materials; and clinical pharmacy services) and drug management policies at UPT. Terjun Medan Community Health Center in accordance with the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 74 of 2016 on the Standards for Pharmaceutical Services at Puskesmas. Method: The pharmacy internship at UPT. Terjun Medan Community Health Center was carried out from September 4, 2023, to September 30, 2023, from 08:00 AM to 03:00 PM on Monday to Friday, and from 08:00 AM to 01:30 PM on Saturday. The activities involved clinical pharmacy services and the management of consumable medical materials. Results: The tasks and responsibilities of the pharmacist at UPT. Terjun Medan Community Health Center include the management of pharmaceutical supplies and consumable medical materials (planning needs, requesting, receiving, storing, distributing, controlling, recording, reporting, and monitoring and evaluating), as well as clinical pharmacy services (prescription review and dispensing, Drug Information Services (PIO), counseling, Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) monitoring, Drug Therapy Monitoring (PTO), and Drug Utilization Evaluation (EPO). Conclusion: The pharmaceutical services carried out at UPT. Terjun Medan Community Health Center, including the management of pharmaceutical supplies and consumable medical materials, as well as clinical pharmacy services, are generally in accordance with the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 74 of 2016 on the Standards for Pharmaceutical Services at Puskesmas.en_US
