dc.description.abstractPostpartum (postpartum period) is the healing period from the birth of the placenta and fetal membranes (signaling the end of the intrapartum period) until return of the device female reproduction in non-pregnant conditions, as well as adjustments to its presence new members. Objective: to find out how relaxing lavender aromatherapy is can reduce the acute pain felt by postpartum mothers with wounds perineum. Method: using lavender aromatherapy as a relaxation tool reduce pain. Results: the pain felt by the patient decreased, namely case 1 Mrs. A from pain scale 5 (moderate pain) to pain scale 2 (mild) and case 2 Mrs. S of pain scale 6 (moderate pain) to pain scale 2 (mild). Analysis: results obtained has been tested using Wilcoxon analysis. Conclusion: based on up bringing nursing care that has been carried out on both postpartum mothers experiencing acute pain due to perineal wound procedures, it can be concluded that non-pharmacological techniques Lavender therapy can reduce pain in postpartum mothersen_US
