dc.description.abstractDiabetes Mellitus (DM) is a collection of symptoms that occur in a person due to an increase in blood glucose levels due to a progressive decrease in insulin secretion against the background of insulin resistance. Based on World Health Organization (WHO) data, it shows that around 171,230,100 people suffer from diabetes mellitus. Diabetes mellitus can occur due to several factors, especially a person's lifestyle. Management of diabetes mellitus patients is divided into 2, namely pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. In carrying out this senior practicum, the practitioner manages nursing care for diabetes mellitus clients with non- pharmacological management, namely by implementing diabetic foot exercises which aim to help improve blood circulation. Nursing care was carried out for 1 week starting from 20 May - 25 May 2024 for two patients suffering from diabetes mellitus with the main complaints of cramps and stiffness in the legs. The results of the implementation showed that in 2 patients the result was relief from cramps in the legs after carrying out diabetic foot exercises.en_US
