| dc.description.abstract | This study provides an in-depth description of the types of moral values depicted in the 2014 war film Fury. Using the moral value theories of Suseno (2007) and K. Bertens (2007), this study employs a qualitative descriptive method to identify, classify, and describe the moral values embodied through characters' dialogues, actions, and behaviours in the film. The data collection process involved repeated viewing of the film, notation of relevant dialogue, and description of key scenes. The research findings revealed a broad spectrum of moral values present in the film including positive values such as honesty, bravery, responsibility, humble, and critical thinking. In addition. A quantitative overview of the frequency of moral value occurrence showed that bravery emerged as the most dominant moral value, accounting for 37.25% of the total moral value occurrences identified. The conclusion of this study confirms that Fury conveys a rich and layered moral message, with a particular emphasis on the value of bravery in the face of adversity. This research not only contributes to a deeper understanding of the representation of moral values in war films, but also highlights the potential of film as a medium for ethical exploration and reflection. | en_US |
