| dc.description.abstract | The title of this paper is ―A Description of the Main Characters and Conflicts Found in the Movie Bad Boys for Life." The purpose of this research is to analyze the main characters and the conflicts depicted in the movie. The method used by the writer is qualitative descriptive research, where data is collected by searching and reviewing several sources related to the description of main characters in literary works. The writer then repeatedly watches the movie, quoting sentences or phrases that highlight the main characters and conflicts, and describes them accordingly. In this study, the two primary characters, Mike and Marcus, are analyzed as they dominate the plot of the story. The writer uses the main character theory by Abrams as explained in Nurgiyantoro (2013). This paper aims to describe the main characters and conflicts of Mike and Marcus, as well as their personal lives. Both characters are policemen, facing the challenge of apprehending a criminal and drug dealer, which serves as a major conflict in their lives and work. Although they share the same profession, their personal lives differ: Mike is single, while Marcus is married with children and grandchildren, balancing family life and the challenges of being a policeman. | en_US |
