Background: Diarrhea is a condition where a person passes stools with a mushy or liquid consistency or even water and the frequency is more frequent (usually three times a day or more) in one day. Objectives: This study aims to determine the most extensive average inhibition zone on antibacterial from ethanol extract, n-hexane fraction and ethyl acetate fraction of rantiti leaves (Cipadessa baccifera (Roxb. ex Roth) Miq.) and investigate whether there is antibacterial activity that can produce effective antibacterial or antibacterial that can produce effective antibacterial against pathogenic isolates or not.. Method: The sampling method was carried out by purposive sampling. The samples used were rantiti leaf plants obtained from Paraduan Village, Ronggur Nihuta District, Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province Determination of antibacterial activity was carried out using the disc diffusion method. Results: The highest inhibition zone of rantiti leaves (Cipadessa baccifera (Roxb. Ex Roth) Miq.) is in the ethyl acetate fraction at a concentration of 200 mg/ml where the average diameter of the inhibition zone against Baccilus cereus bacteria is 11.43 ± 1.09 mm, while against Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria is 9.03 ± 0.55 mm. Conclusion: The ethanol extract, n-hexane fraction and ethyl acetate fraction of Cipadessa baccifera (Roxb. Ex Roth) Miq.) rantiti. Has antibacterial activity against Baccilus cereus and Pseudomona aeruginosa bacteria which are bacteria that cause diarrhea and infections and burns.en_US
