dc.description.abstract | This research is entitled ‘NCTzen Medan City Perception of Johnny’s Communication Center (JCC) Content on NCT YouTube Channel’. The purpose of this research was to determine NCTzen Medan City perception of Johnny’s Communication Center content on NCT YouTube Channel. The theories used in this research are mass communication, communication technology, new media, YouTube, K-Pop phenomenon, and perception. This research is a quantitative research with a description method, which only describes situations and events, there is no hypothesis testing. The population of this study is NCTzen Medan City in total 200 peoples. The sample is determined using the Taro Yamane formula with precision of 10% and a confidence level of 90%, and obtained of 67 peoples as a sample. The sampling technique used in this study is Purposive Sampling. The data collection technique carried by the researcher are questionnaire filling method (Field Research) and literature research (Library Research). The data analysis technique used is a single table analysis with Statistical Product and System Solution (SPSS) version 26.0. Based on the results of the research, the NCTzen of Medan City are active YouTube users and subscribers of NCT's YouTube. The two main indicators in this study are interpretation, NCTzen understands the content of the content and gets new information and the reaction indicator, NCTzen gives a positive response to the content and is suggested to use English when they are on speaking. All the content of Johnny's Communication Center received a positive perception by NCTzen Medan City. | en_US |
