Pengaruh Giberelin (GA3) dan Paclobutrazol pada Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Dua Genotipe Ubi Jalar (Ipomea batatas L.)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth and production of two local genotypes of sweet potatoes against the administration of GA3 and Paclobutrazol. This research was carried out on agricultural land on Harmonika Baru Street, Medan Selayang District, Medan City, North Sumatra. Starting from August to December 2022. The study used a Group Random Design (RAK) with 2 treatment factors. Factor I, namely Sweet Potato Genotype: Turi Genotip Cengkeh Turi and Genotip Lokal Tanah Seribu Umbi Orange and Factor II of the administration of growth regulators with 2 levels, namely without ZPT and GA3 100 ppm/L water + PBZ 10 ppm/L water. Based on the results of the study, the diameter of the tubers per sample, the weight of the tubers showed the best growth in the Genotip Lokal Tanah Seribu Umbi Orange, while the average weight of tubers showed the best growth in the Genotip Cengkeh Turi. The best tendril length were obtained with GA3 administration of 100 ppm/L water + PBZ 10 ppm/L water compared to the treatment without ZPT.
