Peking ducks have the potential to be superior meat livestock in Indonesia, with advantages in meat production and disease resistance. Efforts to improve their productivity are made through the addition of papaya leaf decoction to livestock drinking water, as papaya leaves are rich in compounds beneficial to livestock health. However, research is needed to determine the appropriate concentration ofpapaya leaf decoction to avoid imparting a bitter taste to the duck meat. This studyemployed a completely randomized design (CRD) experimental approach with 80 day-old ducklings divided into 4 treatments and 5 replications. Each replication consisted of 4 Peking ducks. The treatments administered were: P0 (without boiledpapaya leaf water), P1 (5 ml), P2 (15 ml), and P3 (25 ml) in drinking water. The results showed that the addition of boiled papaya leaf water significantly affected slaughter weight, carcass weight, and carcass percentage. P3 produced the highest slaughter weight, carcass weight, and carcass percentage of 1.8532 kg, 1.3743 kg,and 74.4%, respectively. The addition of boiled papaya leaf water can enhance theproductivity of Peking ducks, making it an effective method in duck farming.en_US
