dc.description.abstract | This research aims to determine the effect of using goat feces bokashi manure on the growth and productivity of dwarf elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott). This research was carried out in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara using polybags. This research was carried out from November 2022 to February 2023. This research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments, namely P0 = Not given goat feces bokashi fertilizer, P1 = Given goat feces bokashi fertilizer 200 g/polybag, P2 = Given goat feces bokashi fertilizer 400 g/polybag, P3 = Given goat feces bokashi fertilizer 600 g/polybag, each treatment has 5 repetitions. The research parameters were plant height, number of tillers, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, fresh material production and dry material production.
The research results showed that there was a real influence on plant height, number of tillers, number of leaves, leaf width, leaf length, fresh material production and dry matter production. Using goat feces bokashi fertilizer at 600 g/polybag showed better results compared to using 0-400 g/polybag. This shows that goat feces bokashi fertilizer is suitable for use as organic fertilizer to increase the productivity of dwarf elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott). | en_US |
