Research on Nekton Biodiversity in Sialang Buah Waters Teluk Mengkudu Distric Serdang Bedagai Regency North Sumatra Province was carried out in March 2024. The highest abundance was 222 (ind/m2) at high tide and the lowest abundance was 19 (ind/m2). m2) at low tide. The highest spatial relative abundance (KR) of nekton at high tide is found in the Octopus alpeus species, namely 19.69%. The results obtained showed that the habitat conditions at all observation stations in Sialang Buah Waters were sandy, dusty and clayey. However, sand is more dominant in the sandy loam category. The relationship between physico-chemical water parameters in Sialang Buah Waters such as temperature and salinity has a strong interpretation relationship. Then brightness, pH, Nitrogen and phosphate have a very weak interpretation of the diversity of nekton types. Meanwhile, DO has a very strong interpretation.
