Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Hasil Pertanian Komoditas Unggul Berbasis Website di Desa Merdeka

Abstract

Karo Regency is one of the regencies with good agricultural potential in North Sumatra, where more than 75% of the population are farmers. Merdeka Village is one of the villages located in Merdeka sub-district, Karo Regency and is one of the villages where most of the area is agricultural land and the average people work as farmers. To help village officers and farmers in storing data of agricultural products to be more effective and efficient, and the information can be known and accessed by the public, then designed a system that is able to solve these problems. The purpose of this research is to design an information system that is able to manage and store data on superior commodity agricultural products in Merdeka Village which will be made website-based. The method used in this research is a qualitative method by collecting and analysing non-numerical data and creating a website using the SDLC method with the stages of planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and software management in a systematic and structured manner which will be presented in the form of a website as a means of information of superior commodities in Merdeka Village. This research was conducted in Merdeka Village, Merdeka Sub-district, Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province.
