dc.description.abstractThe growth and development of the agricultural sector play a crucial role in ensuring a nation's food security and economic stability. In this context, pre-harvest agricultural mechanization emerges as a pivotal factor in enhancing productivity and efficiency. This thesis focuses on the development of an Agricultural Pre-Harvest Mechanization Information System at the Central Workshop Unit of PT Perkebunan Nusantara II. The aim is to design and implement a platform capable of seamlessly managing information related to mechanization tools in an integrated manner. This research adopts an approach that involves system requirements analysis, database design, and software development. Through this system, it is anticipated that the Central Workshop Unit of PT Perkebunan Nusantara II can enhance efficiency in the management and maintenance of mechanization tools, as well as optimize their utilization in pre-harvest agricultural processes. This research uses the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with research stages in the form of data collection by means of field observations from stakeholders. The framework used in this research is CodeIgniter 3 with PHP, JavaScript and Bootstrap programming languages. To design the database the author used HeidiSQL from Laragon. The research is conducted at the Central Workshop Unit of PT Perkebunan Nusantara II. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of the Pre-Harvest Agricultural Mechanization Information System can provide significant benefits in improving efficiency and productivity at the central workshop unit of PT Perkebunan Nusantara II. This system can also serve as a good example for the application of information technology in the broader agricultural sector in Indonesia. It is hoped that the findings of this research can make a positive contribution to supporting the growth of the agricultural sector and the overall national economy.en_US
