Threshing is one of the post-harvest stages of peanuts before they go to the distributor. The use of a threshing tool with a threshing rotor is very important because farmers generally still use their hands to thresh peanuts, which makes the process quite long, requires quite tiring energy and risks injuring their hands. This research aims to design, design, test and analyze from a technical and economic perspective. This research resulted in the effective capacity of the tool being 61.21 kg/hour. The average percentage of peanuts that do not fall off is 25.31%. The average yield of nuts obtained was 10.53%. Average electric power consumption is 649 watts. By threshing 725 kg of peanuts per year, this peanut thresher will reach the break-even point and meet the criteria for use/profitability. This tool has an NPV value > 0, namely IDR 1,469,405,826/year with an interest rate of 6% and IDR 1,392,323,539/year with a trial interest rate of 8%. The internal rate of return (IRR) value of this equipment is 46.12%.en_US
