Abstract

Archives are collections of historical papers or documents or the physical facility where they are stored. Warkat is a sheet that contains information or information that has meaning and usability. An archive storage system is a system that is used for document storage so that it is easy to create storage works and the discovery of stored documents can be done quickly whenever these documents are needed at any time. The management system in the archives includes various activities in classifying letters, giving codes, storing letters, maintaining them properly up to the method of getting rid of and destroying letters that are no longer used. Based on the results of research conducted at BAKESBANGPOL Provsu which is used to record incoming and outgoing letters still uses an Agenda book system with a format consisting of letter number, date of recipient of letter, name of agency or company sending date or letter number, subject matter, attachments, forwarded to description and archive code. This system has been implemented since the founding of BAKESBANGPOL Provsu until now.
