Local Original Income is a source of local income which includes Local Taxes, Local Retributions, Results of Management of Separated Local Assets and Other Legitimate Local Original Income. Local Taxes and Local Retributions are potential sources for the region and as a benchmark for the independence of the region itself. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of Local Tax Revenue, Local Retributions, and Results of Management of Separated Local Assets on the Unemployment Rate in the Medan, Binjai, Langkat and Deli Serdang areas from 2014 to 2021. The analytical tools used are the Descriptive Analysis model and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis using panel data. The analysis was carried out using secondary data derived from the report on the realization of Local Original Income receipts for the City of Medan, Binjai City, Langkat Regency and Deli Serdang Regency. The results of the study indicate that Regional Taxes have a positive and significant effect on the unemployment rate in the Medan, Binjai, Langkat and Deli Serdang areas. Regional Retributions do not affect the unemployment rate in the Medan, Binjai, Langkat and Deli Serdang areas. Meanwhile, the Results of the Management of Separated Regional Assets have a negative and significant effect on the unemployment rate in the Medan, Binjai, Langkat and Deli Serdang areas.en_US
