Cassava or cassava (Manihot esculenta) is a staple food for people in the world, apart from being a staple food, cassava is also used as an industrial raw material and animal feed. The processing process for cassava can be done by shredding so that the results of the shredding process can be made into various processed food ingredients that are delicious and have a high selling value. The aim of this research is to test the effect of varying pulley diameters to obtain the best diameter for cassava sawing machine tools on test parameters. Thus, it is hoped that changing the pulley can increase efficiency and productivity in the cassava shredding process. This study used a non-factorial completely randomized design. The pulley diameters used are 2 inches (P1), 4 inches (P2) and 6 inches (P3). In this study, the best pulley in treatment 3 was 6 inches (P3). The results of this research show that the tool's effective capacity is the largest (89.39 kg/hour) at (P3) with a pulley size of 6 inches, the largest yield (87.4%) at (P3) and the largest percentage of lost material (26.5% ) on (P1) with a pulley diameter of 2 inches.en_US
