dc.description.abstractThe optimal coffee roasting process is greatly influenced by precise control of temperature and time. To achieve better consistency, automation is a solution to increase efficiency and quality of grating results. This research aims to design and implement a control system using temperature and time sensors on a coffee roaster. The experimental method was carried out by setting a set point temperature and consistent drying time to see the control system in controlling temperature. The re-search results show that with the working concept of the system reducing the flame on the burner after reaching the set point, the temperature in the roasting tends to continue to exceed the set point temperature.en_US
