| dc.description.abstract | This research is motivated by the existence of problems in the development of local potential of Raya Village, Berastagi District such as Human Resources (HR) which is still not optimal, the lack of role of the younger generation in development, promotions carried out by the manager are not optimal, poor local potential management from internal managers, so that the role of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) Arih Ersada is needed in developing local potential in Taman Seribu Bunga, Raya Village, Karo Regency.
The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Informants in this study consisted of the Head of Raya Village, President Director of BUMDES Arih Ersada, Head of BUMDES Arih Ersada Agrotourism, Head of Raya Village Youth Organization, and the Community. This research uses role indicators by Rizzo and Lirtzman, namely authority, responsibility, clarity of purpose, and scope of work.
The results of this study indicate that the role of Arih Ersada Village-Owned Enterprises in Raya Village is not optimal, which can be seen from the authority, BUMDES Arih Ersada is still unable to manage human resources properly and has not carried out the authority of each division's ranks properly. Responsibility, BUMDES Arih Ersada as a facilitator has not been able to run well because the community still has not utilized Taman Seribu Bunga as a facility provided by BUMDES, as a mediator, has not carried out socialization and training that is beneficial to the Raya village community, especially in developing local potential, as empowerment, BUMDES Arih Ersada has not been able to carry out its responsibilities which can be seen from the mismatch of expectations and facts in the field. Clarity of purpose, BUMDES Arih Ersada made improvements to the processing program and established cooperation with third parties. Scope of work, BUMDES Arih Ersada has attempted to carry out its duties in utilizing the local potential of Raya village. | en_US |
