dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine how the relationship between the role of Islamic finance and the younger generation in increasing Islamic economic literacy. With a case study on University of North Sumatra students. The population in this study are active USU undergraduate students in the 2020-2022 stambuk, have awareness of Islamic finance and have an interest in using Islamic finance. The study uses primary data collected through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms to 267 USU students, determined by Cluster Random Sampling, and secondary data from various journals, the internet, and other sources. The analysis technique employed is Partial Least Squares using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that knowledge of Islamic finance positively impacts Islamic economic literacy among the youth. The researcher suggests that Islamic finance institutions should enhance the socialization of Islamic financial literacy and leverage technology to promote Islamic financial products, especially to the tech-savvy younger generation. Additionally, improving the quality of human resources aligned with Islamic finance is recommended. For future research, it is suggested to add relevant variables and expand the research data for greater accuracy and broader coverage.en_US
