dc.description.abstractBiodiesel is an effective, environmentally friendly alternative fuel that has no side effects for motor vehicles and can reduce combustion residues compared to diesel oil. The aim of this research is to obtain viscosity, acid value, saponification value, total glycerol and methyl ester on the effect of catalytic use in the perforated static mixer reactor. To obtain an alternative fuel oil, research was carried out that mixed cooking oil with a wet catalyst consisting of 3 catalyst treatments of 0.3%, 0.4% and 0.5%. The research parameters obtained viscosity results of 5.3297, 4.9877 and 3.8294 respectively, acid numbers of 0.2995, 0.9876 and 0.2853respectively, saponification numbers of 171.426, 184.508 and 190.803 respectively, total glycerol were 0.14, 0.1233 and 0.09 respectively, and methyl-esters were 99.4481, 99.5315 and 99.6343 respectively.en_US
