dc.description.abstract | The palm oil processor into CPO is a design that uses the same working principle as the chopping machine at the palm oil mill which functions to pulverize through the process of stirring the oil palm loose fruit until the pulp is separated from the seeds where the result is CPO as a result of the lubrication of the tool with a simpler version so that it can be used by the community and does not depend on the palm oil processing industry alone. The design of this tool is carried out based on the literature read about the basics of designing tool components. The purpose of this research is to design a semi-mechanized palm oil processing tool into CPO (Crude Palm Oil), test the physical properties of the tool and calculate the strength of the material as well as the performance of the tool motion on the palm oil processing tool. The simulation results obtained the stress number that occurs in the frame is 5.853 N / m2, and the number of changes in the shape that occurs in the frame is 1.436 mm, while the safety factor number obtained is 3.769, because the results of the pressure applied are smaller than the maximum stress of the material, so that no static and dynamic changes occur in the frame. | en_US |
