To move towards a more environmentally friendly agriculture, it can be started by raising awareness of farmers in using organic fertilizers. In changing farmers' awareness, the role of an extension worker is needed, this is because extension workers can change farmers' attitudes, knowledge and skills. Therefore, the role of extension workers is vital in moving towards a more organic agriculture. This study aims to determine the role of extension agents in the rate of organic fertilizer adoption by farmers. To find out the relationship between the role of extension workers and the adoption rate of organic fertilizers, use Rank Spearman. The population in the study was 860, while the sample used the slovin formula with a standard error of 10% and simple random sampling was carried out so that the final sample obtained was 90 farmers. The data collection technique was used by the questionnaire method. Data analysis techniques are carried out using the scoring method, correlation test. Where the tool used to develop the test is used by using SPSS. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the role of extension workers in the adoption rate of organic fertilizers by farmers is categorized as high. As for finding out the adoption rate of farmers, it can be seen from the total volume of organic fertilizer use and the total cost of using organic fertilizer.
