The Effect of Debt to Equity Ratio, Maturity, Company Size, Liquidity, and Bond Rating on Yield to Maturity of Corporate Bond Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2018-2022
Abstract
This study aims to determine and prove the effect of debt to equity ratio,
maturity, company size, liquidity, and bond rating on yield to maturity of corporate
bonds listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022. This study
had a population of 149 finance sector corporate bonds from 41 companies. The
sample selection technique used in this study was purposive sampling to obtain a
sample of 40 bonds from 27 companies. The data analysis technique used in this
research is multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, and
hypothesis testing. The results showed that debt to equity ratio, company size,
liquidity, and bond rating have a negative and significant effect on yield to maturity,
while maturity has a positive and significant effect on yield to maturity.
Simultaneously, debt to equity ratio, maturity, company size, liquidity and bond
rating affect yield to maturity.
