dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine The Effect Of 1-Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA) And Coconut Water On The Multiplication Of Pineapple Buds (Ananas comosus L. Merr). This research was conducted at the Tissue Culture Laboratory of ALIFA Agricultural Research Center (ALIFA-ARC), Medan in October 2021-September 2022. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with two treatment factors. The first factor is growth regulator consisting of no growth regulator, 0.25mg/l NAA, and 0.5mg/l NAA. The second factor is the growth regulator consisting of no growth regulator, 5% coconut water, 10% coconut water, 15% coconut water. The results showed that the treatment of growth regulators had a significant effect on the emergence of induction stage buds and emergence of subculture stage buds but had no significant effect on the number of induction stage buds, as well as the number of buds and the length of subculture stage buds. The treatment of 0.5 mg/l NAA + 10% coconut water produced an earlier number of shoots with a shoot number of 2.25 at the induction stage and the treatment of 0 mg/l NAA + 10% coconut water with a shoot number of 2 and a shoot length of 0.75 cm at the subculture stage. | en_US |
