    Abstract
Background. Lupus nephritis is the most common complication in 70% of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. Lupus nephritis usually does not cause symptoms in the first few years after the onset of lupus. However, anti-dsDNA levels in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus can indicate lupus nephritis disease activity and can be detected even several years before clinical symptoms appear Objective. To analyze the relationship between anti-dsDNA levels and the incidence of lupus nephritis in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus Methods. This study is an analytic descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The data that taken in this study were carried out by total sampling and were secondary data obtained from patient medical record data. The subjects in this study were systemic lupus erythematosus patients who suffered from lupus nephritis. Results. Based on the results of the study, that most patients with lupus nephritis were women, 38 people or 86.4%. While based on age, as many as 40 samples or 90.9% were in the adolescent age category, between 13-18 years. There was a significant relationship between anti-dsDNA levels and the incidence of lupus nephritis in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (p: 0.003) Conclusion. There is a significant relationship between anti-dsDNA levels and the incidence of lupus nephritis in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (p: 0.003)
