Rancangan Sistem Informasi Pertanian Tanaman Palawija Jagung (Zea Mays) Berbasis Web Pada Dinas Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura Provinsi Sumatera Utara Studi Kasus Kota Medan

Abstract

Corn is one of the secondary crops that is strategic and has economic value and has the opportunity to be developed because of its position as the main source of carbohydrates and protein after rice and also as a source of feed. By looking at the potential of corn secondary crops, which can help develop the economy of farmers in the city of Medan, developed technology is needed, such as data archiving and planting decision support systems, where websites are very likely to support these needs. This research aims to collect data and support decision making for designing a Web-based Agricultural Information System for Corn Crops (Zea Mays) and building a website-based information system model using WordPress. The method used in this research is a qualitative method and creating a website using the SDLC method with stages of designing input, output, database, user interface, system implementation and system maintenance. This research was conducted at the Food Crops and Horticulture Service.
