Analisis Aktor dan Strategi Politik Nasril Bahar sebagai Anggota DPR RI Periode 2004-2029

Abstract

This research shows that throughout five legislative election periods, Nasril Bahar was elected to represent the people in the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) through the Sumatera Utara III electoral district. Nasril Bahar's victory was influenced by the political strategies he consistenly implemented, creating and instilling loyalty among his voters. The aim of this study is to analyze Nasril Bahar as a political actor using his political strategies to maintain power in every legislative election as a member of DPR RI for the Sumut III electoral district from 2004 to 2029. This study uses qualitative research methods with political actor theory and organizational performance theory, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews and documentation. The finding shows that Nasril Bahar as a political actor and a member of the DPR RI, has become a figure who benefits his community and has developed into a influential individual with the ability to build good communication with his committee partners to work synergistically in developing his electoral district. This is a part of Nasril Bahar's political strategy during his five terms in office. Through his involvement in the muhammadiyah organization, Nasril Bahar requested the local muhammadiyah leadership to help facilitate closer ties with muhammadiyah member and sympathizes by inviting them to muhammadiyah events such as routine sunday morning gatherings, commemorations of important days, Tarjih studies, or other discussions. Nasril Bahar values this support and remains committed to applying muhammadiyah's values in his political activities. His political strategy to gain public empathy by building the muhammadiyah organization serves as a long-term political investment and helps secure votes from the muhammadiyah community.
