This research is entitled "Tiktok User Perceptions Regarding the Self-Diagnose Phenomenon (Correlation Study of Students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, USU Stambuk 2023)." This research method uses quantitative techniques. The aim of this research is to find out what the perceptions of USU Faculty of Social and Political Sciences students are as users of TikTok social media and to find out the factors that influence USU FISIP students' perceptions of the TikTok application. The theory used in this research is Communication Perception. The research population was students from the USU Faculty of Social and Political Sciences ranging in age from 18 years to 22 years and were active students from the class of 2023, totaling 655 people. The sample consisted of 95 people determined using the Taro Yamane formula. This research applies a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires to selected respondents. Researchers carried out a series of data analysis techniques, namely descriptive analysis, validity test, reliability test, normality test, coefficient of determination, and t test. The research results show that there is a contribution from the TikTok application to the self-diagnosis phenomenon that occurs. The t test results show a significant value of 0.004 and a calculated t-value of 2.937. Considering that the t-count value (2.937) is greater than the t-table value (1.661) and the significance value (0.004) is smaller than 0.05, it can be concluded that the accepted hypothesis is Ha, namely that there is an influence on the perceptions of students at the Faculty of Social Sciences. and USU Stambuk 2023 Politics regarding the use of social media TikTok.en_US
