Analysis of the Influence of Financial Literacy, Digital Literacy, and Financial Self-Efficacy on Risky Credit Behavior in the Use of Paylater Among Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Sumatera Utara
Abstract
This research aims to find empirical evidence on whether financial literacy, digital literacy, and financial self-efficacy have an impact on the risky credit behavior of undergraduate students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of North Sumatra, specifically those enrolled in the 2020, 2021, and 2022 cohorts. This type of research is associative with quantitative data. The research was conducted at the University of North Sumatra in Medan from March 2024 to September 2024. The methods used to collect data in this research are through questionnaires and interviews. The number of samples used was 105 students, selected through random sampling with a hair sample. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The research results indicate that, partially, financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on risky credit behavior, digital literacy has a negative and insignificant effect on risky credit behavior, and financial self-efficacy has a negative and insignificant effect on risky credit behavior among active undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Sumatera Utara.
