    Abstract
    Sarcopenia is a condition where there is a decrease in muscle mass, muscle strength and physical performance related to age, the increasing age so that the mass, quality and strength of skeletal muscles decrease degeneratively causing decreased activity power. The purpose of the study was to determine the salivary flow rate, Occlusal Pressure, Swallowing Function, and to analyze the relationship between Sarcopenia with salivary flow rate, occlusal pressure, and swallowing function aged 60-80 years at the Gurilla Health Center, Pematangsiantar. The method used was descriptive analytical with a cross-sectional approach. The place and time of this study were conducted at the Gurilla Health Center, Gurilla Street, Gurilla Village, Siantar Sitalasari District, Pematangsiantar City with a sample of 80 people, 40 men and 40 women. The results of the study The salivary flow rate of Sarcopenia sufferers was abnormal in men 82.5%, women 55%. Occlusal pressure of Sarcopenia patients in men 75%, women 50% have teeth <20. Swallowing function of Sarcopenia patients in men 80% women 52.5% have a value of >3, there is a significant difference in men and women aged 60-80 years at the Gurilla Health Center Pematangsiantar. There is a relationship between Sarcopenia in the elderly and oral health. Conclusion There is a significant relationship between sarcopenia with salivary flow rate, occlusal pressure and swallowing function aged 60-80 years at the Gurilla Health Center Pematangsiantar.
