This research aims to identify the denotation meaning, connotation meaning, and myth that are found in BTS’s Music Video Permission To Dance and describe the semiotic meaning of The Covid-19 Pandemic representation by using semiotic theory that proposed by Roland Barthes. In COVID-19 epidemic era, most people rely on the internet's mass media to stay connected to the world and carry out daily activities, particularly when it comes to entertainment and music video is one of the types of entertainment media that is currently available. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection in this research is document study. The data source of this research are Data Visual which are the screenshots from the music video and Data Verbal based on the lyrics of the song Permission To Dance which downloaded from Hybe Label's YouTube Channel with a duration of 4 minutes 59 seconds. The result shows the denotation meaning, connotation meaning, myth and the semiotic meaning are the hidden message from the music video represents covid-19 pandemic. Because from the music video, it tells that all activities are limited, required all levels of society had to wear mask and shows how the ending of covid-19 represented in the music video.
