    Klasifikasi Kopi Green Beans Arabika Sumatera Utara Menggunakan FT-Nirs dan Analisis Diskriminan

    Abstract
    Near Infrared Reflectance (NIR) measurement of coffee beans is done to substitute the chemical analysis. This research was aimed to obtain the NIR spectra for each of North Sumatera Arabica green bean coffee, namely: Humbang Hasundutan, Mandailing Natal and Dairi to obtained the best coffee classification model was obtained using discriminant analysis. In this research, the NIR reflectance spectra were measured, then processed using Principle Component Analysis (PCA) and Discriminant Analysis (DA) method to produce a classification model of each coffee by adding the data pretreatment, such as smoothing, derivative 1 (D1), derivative 2 (D2), SNV and MSC as spectra data correction methods. Result showed that the North Sumatra Arabica coffee beans could be classified using PCA, indicated by 100% accuracy of smoothing pretreatment result, 92% of pretreatment derivative 1 result, 97% of SNV pretreatment result and 98% of MSC pretreatment result and the best DA model was found 100% accuracy.
     
    Pengukuran Near Infrared Reflectance (NIR) biji kopi dilakukan untuk menggantikan proses analisis kimia yang terkandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan spektra NIR untuk masing-masing kopi green beans Arabika Sumatera Utara : Humbang Hasundutan, Mandailing Natal dan Dairi dan untuk mendapatkan model klasifikasi kopi yang terbaik dengan menggunakan analisis diskriminan. Pada penelitian ini diukur spektra reflektan NIR, data reflektan kemudian diproses menggunakan Principle Component Analysis (PCA) dan Discriminant Analysis (DA) untuk menghasilkan model klasifikasi masing-masing kopi dengan menambahkan pretreatment data seperti smoothing, Derivative 1 (D1) dan Derivative 2 (D2), Standart Normal Variate (SNV) dan Multiple Scatter Correction (MSC) sebagai metode koreksi data spektra. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa biji kopi Arabika Sumatera Utara dapat diklasifikasikan menggunakan PCA, dengan tingkat akurasi 100% untuk hasil pretreatment smoothing, 92% hasil pretreatment D1, 97% hasil pretreatment SNV dan 98% hasil pretreatment MSC dan menghasilkan model DA terbaik dengan tingkat akurasi 100%.
